Claudia Brown can be described as many things. She's strong, independent, loyal, compassionate, hard-working, clever, easily-frustrated and a little bit cynical. She's good at taking orders and always tries to do her best at her job, though she can get frustrated or bored, depending on the job. She always tries to do what she thinks is best, and though very compassionate, is not afraid to make tough decisions if necessary. She can be stubborn at times, but is generally good at following orders. She is loyal to the people she trusts and is a team player. She tries to be strong in all situations, but has trouble sometimes staying on top of the stress. Doesn't think of herself as brave, but hates showing fear
She's good at riding and likes dancing (though pretty poorly) and cooking (just as poorly). She used to secretly wish to run off and sail around the world, though ever since the anomalies open she doesn't really think about that anymore. She often disagrees with her boss and Cutter. Ever since the opening of the anomalies she's started getting a bit paranoid and scared, like something that wants to attack her is around every corner. She likes order, and rules, and structure and dislikes chaos. She hates being patronized, especially by men.
As she is very attractive, she often gets hit on, but (until she met Cutter) ever since she broke off her two year engament, she hasn't been particularly interested in a relationship. She can come off as overly professional and proper to some people. She believes that an efficient civil servant should take everything in her stride, including dinosaurs.
Hair: She has auburn hair that has a slight wave to it and falls below her shoulders.
Eye colour: Dark brown
Play by: Lucy Brown
Piercings and Tattoos: She has ear rings, but beside that no piercings or tattoos.
Scars and Birthmarks: No particular birthmarks, except she does have a few scars on her body from various creature encounters.
General Appearance: Claudia Brown tries to look as professional as possible. With neat cardigans and coats, she always looks classy. She's about 5"7 and has wavy, light auburn hair, which she wears in various styles. She has good posture and always tries to look her best. She has a fondness for pink and red blouses. She wears a normal amount of make-up, but tries to keep it as natural and mild as possible.
Family: Claudia was an only child, though she always secretly wanted a sister. She has a pretty good relationship with her parents, especially her father. Her mother was not happy when Claudia broke off the engagement with her fiancée and constantly calls her to try and set her off with various men, which she always turns down. She tries to keep in contact with her parents, but with her busy schedule she often forgets.
Full History:
Claudia had a fairly ordinary and normal childhood. Ordinary, but good. She was a pretty well behaved child, though being a bit stubborn sometimes. She didn't have many friends though as she could come off as snobbish, but the friends she did have she loved with all her heart. She was fairly out going though and enjoyed public speaking and being in leadership positions.
When Claudia hit puberty, she began to fill out and got more and got plenty of attention from boys, but in Year 10 one of those boys broke her heart and she was a bit more frigid and untrusting in her relationships since then. She payed attention and worked very hard in school. Though she was never top of the class or anything, she always tried her best and did well. Her mother was always pushing her to do better, be better and that caused her to act out a bit.
After high school Claudia went immediately to university to study law. She partied a little bit, and had a few boyfriends, but nothing to serious - she tried to pay attention at school as much as possible and do her best.
After university, Claudia joined the Civil Service. For two years her life was uneventful and boring, she dreamed of quitting her job and sailing around the world, that is, until she met Jason. Jason worked in the same department as her and they hit it off immediately. After a year of dating they got engaged. Through out there engagement there relationship became just as boring as the job they shared and Claudia new she couldn't take the rest of her life like this, so a month before the wedding, much to her mothers disapproval, she cancelled the wedding. There was much surprise, especially from her fiancée who wasn't expecting it in the least and was very reluctant to break up.
The next two years of her life where utterly boring and uneventful -she'd sit in meetings wishing that something would happen in her life, that was until her boss approached her and told her she was to go to the Forest of Dean and confirm that 'monster sightings' as false. That was the day her life both began, and ended.

RP sample:Eve crept silently down her stairs, not daring to make a noise in case she woke her foster parents, her face and arms still aching from the night before. She hadn't walked home fast enough, and had gotten home by 4:00, and the Smith's had been 'worried'. Eve shuddered. If this was them worried, she would hate to see them angry, though as soon as thought that, she quickly realised that she had seen them angry, and she had certainly not liked it. Though she had searched desperately for a top with long sleeves, they all appeared to be dirty and in the laundry, and even though it was reasonably warm outside, Eve was forced to wear a hoodie over a t-shirt, so she prayed she wouldn’t get too hot, as she couldn’t take it off and risk exposing her bruises. She grabbed an apple for lunch out of the basket and placed it in her bag, which was heavy from the pile of schoolbooks and crept out of the house. When she reached the fresh air outside the Smith's house, she inhaled deeply and let the warm sun beam down onto her face, then after a seconds serenity, she ran off quickly, making sure that she was not late for the bus, and ignored the ache in her body as she ran to catch it.Eve shut her locker gently with her shoulder, her hands occupied with math books and the school map that she was trying to read. She hadn’t been at St. Francis Preparatory for very long, and though Eve had a disturbingly good memory, her advanced math class had been moved to the classroom 23B, a classroom on the other end of the building near the art rooms, and Eve, who avoided those sort of classes at all costs, the illogic and chaos of art annoyed and frustrated Eve profusely. She much preferred the unchanging reason of science; two plus two will always equal four, but art has no set structure or anything that provided Eve with stability. She didn’t mind looking at art, she actually enjoyed observing art and studying its anthropological meaning for society, but she would never want to have to create a piece of artwork herself. As Eve began walking down the hall in the direction of her classroom, winding quickly through the hive of students rushing through the corridors, being sure to keep her head down, when somebody knocked her roughly on the side, putting Eve off balance and the pile of books she held in her hand swayed dangerously and threatened to collapse. Eve hissed as the pain from the person knocking her bruises sharply ran up and down her arms, but was quickly distracted from her pain by the fact that she was about to fall over. Eve quickly steadied herself, but to stop her books from falling she was forced to let go of her map and grab hold of the books with her now free hand. She heard a sorry mumbled as whoever knocked her walked away hurriedly. Eve assumed it was an accident as the sorry sounded sincere enough to her (though Eve never was one to be able to tell when people were being sarcastic) and usually when somebody hurt her on purpose they would stick around to sneer. Eve’s arm throbbed painfully but she was used to ignoring pain, and was more concerned about how she was to retrieve the map laying on the ground, which was currently being trampled on by the herd of students that were rushing through the hall. She considered putting her books down somewhere and collecting it, but people had already started to give her glares and telling her to move, as she was standing in the middle of the corridor in everyone’s way. To make matters worse, the bell rang obnoxiously announcing that she needed to be in class soon. She sighed, defeated, and decided she would have to make do without the map. She headed down the corridor in what she hoped was the correct direction until she reached a door marked with 23 on it, unfortunately she didn’t notice the C next to the numbers, but she was too distracted and in too much of a hurry to be as observant as she usually was. She pushed the door open gently, glad that she wasn’t too late and was about to quickly scurry over to an empty desk when she stopped abruptly as she realised that everyone in the room was staring at her. She lifted her head from the ground, letting her hair fall away from her face (something she didn’t usually do) so she could see the room clearly. A mess of colour, patterns and shapes filled the room and Eve quickly came to the conclusion that this was not her advanced maths class, but in fact an art class. Eve’s eyes widened and then her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment and she quickly lowered her head, letting her mess of brown frizzy curls fall in front of her face again, hiding her from the classroom.“Uh…” Eve began hopelessly, unsure if she should apologise and leave, ask for help, or just silently scurry off. Eve knew she should probably ask for directions, but Eve was never one to ask for help, and didn’t wish to make anybody angry by taking up their time. She decided to give a quick apology and leave, then hopefully somehow find her correct classroom, and quickly, as she didn’t want to be late enough to get a late slip. She couldn’t afford the school calling her foster parents… With that thought, Eve knew she had to get out of the room as soon as possible, so she mumbled “It seems that I have become disorientated and have found the incorrect classroom, I apologise,” then she quickly scampered out of the classroom. She pressed her back against the wall beside the door and looked up at the door and finally noticed the ‘C’ next to 23 and realised she was in the wrong building. How am I to find the B building? thought Eve desperately, as she had never been to that building before. She fanned herself with one of her books, as she was beginning to feel the heat and once more regret not having any clean long sleeve tops, as she tried to figure out where the B building was.
