Sure, it's slow and old fashioned - but what's more personal (or threatening) than a handwritten letter?

The armoury is where the weapons of the ARC team are kept, for use by the field team and the Special Forces Soldiers. .

There are a number of labs inside the ARC; many of the labs are manned by the ARC scientists.

This is a small room, containing only a table and two chairs. There were no windows.

The menagerie is a facility inside the ARC where creatures that are unable to be returned to their own time zone are kept, usually because the anomaly they came through has closed. The facility's dimensions are around 40ft by 40ft. The menagerie is dimly lit with a walkway leading up to an observation area

This is the hospital inside the ARC. It contains a few beds.

The 20th century of the Common Era began on January 1, 1901 and ended on December 31, 2000.

This is where Emily came from. This era is said to expand through Queen Victoria's reign in England (1837-1901). A period noted for its artistic styles, literary schools, as well as the flourishing of social, political and religious movements.

The Middle Ages is a period of European history from the 5th century to the 15th century. Beware of angry knights!

The Jurassic Period (213 to 144 million years ago) is the second of three periods during the Mesozoic Era. The Jurassic Period is referred to as the Age of Reptiles, since reptiles were diverse and abundant during the time period. On land, there were large dinosaurs such as Stegosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Brachiosaurus, and Allosaurus.

The Triassic is the first period in the Mesozoic era, and spanned for abut 250 to 200 Ma (million years ago). It was when dinosaurs first appeared.

The palaeozoic era includes the Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, and Permian.

The Cretaceous period spanned from 135 million to 63 million years ago; end of the age of reptiles; appearance of modern insects and flowering plants. This was the period Abby and Connor got stuck in.
